Overview
Hero Giant is the last of the 3 initial Heroes to be released on December 1st.
Hero Giant’s description is:
A titan amidst Goblins...a Hero among men.
Hero Giant wastes no time showing his enemies who’s boss and who’s lost on their journey to the King Tower.
All the base stats of Hero Giant are the same as normal Giant. The only changes are the troop appearance and the Hero Ability.
Ability: Heroic Hurl
Note: all the following stats are from our developer build and subject to change. We use Tournament Standard stats (Level 11).
Heroic Hurl is Giant’s Hero Ability. It costs 2 Elixir, and the description says the following:
Throws the highest-hitpoint enemy troop in reach across the Arena
When this ability is activated, Hero Giant picks the highest HP enemy troop withing a 2.5 tile radius (like Zap).
The selected troop is thrown towards the other side of the arena, in horizontal direction, a distance of 9 tiles (9 tiles is half of the total arena width). This ability can also target flying troops.
When the enemy troop lands, it receives damage and also damages allied enemy troops within a 1 tile radius. This AOE damage only affects ground troops, and is very light; 135 HP at tournament standard, so barely enough to kill Spear Goblins.
This ability doesn’t seem as versatile as others we’ve seen from the other Heroes, but could still be key to win in some matchups. Activating the King Tower and forcing a lane switch in enemy pushes are some potentially interesting use cases.
On top of this, Giant doesn’t have an Evolved form, so the bar to deserve a Hero Slot may be lower for him.

How to unlock
Hero Giant will become available on December 1st.
He will be one of the 3 Heroes that can be initially obtained from Hero Summons. To summon a Hero you’ll need to collect 200 Hero Fragments, mainly available from live events and Pass Royale.
Duplicate Value
Hero Summons can give you a Hero you already have. Giant is a Rare card, so in exchange you would receive:
- 60 Hero Fragments
- 1,140 Giant Cards
