5 years, 2 wks and 1 day ago - November 27, 2019

Clash Contender Series (CCS) has completed its second to last week of regular season. TClapStorm (Community Manager) had a conversation with this week's MVP from the Americas Division: Viktor.

Viktor is a Colombian player participating in CCS with Undead Gaming. He was picked from the Qualifiers, in which he placed #47 of the region. He has previously participated in other well known competitions as Clash Royale League (CRL), Royale Crown Cup (RCC) and Superliga Imperial (SLI).

If you want to know more about his experience and past achievements, you can look at his profile here.

Without further ado, here is the interview:

How did you get your start in competitive CR?

I began playing some individual leagues after I joined Gladius Gaming (now is Cream) in September of 2017 to then play CRL LATAM 2018 what was my first pro league.

When CCS began, what did you do to separate yourself from other combine attendees?

I don't know, only hard work.

What makes CCS different from every other semi-professional league?

The twitter content is OP, and the level players, but i want bans in 1v1.

If you were able to join a CRL team for next season, who would it be and why?

Any with good people as teammates.

What advice would you give to someone trying to make their way into competitive CR?

Only to train as hard as you can.

What else do you like to do besides playing Clash Royale?

Travel.

What’s your favorite food?

Pizza (with pineapple).

If you could remove one card from CR, what would it be?

Obviusly Elixir Golem.

How did it feel to reverse sweep Team Liquid Academy last week, in Set 2, to bring your team that much closer to earning a playoff position?

It was a huge relief for the Team and me, because in order to compete for the championship we needed this win not only to bring us closer to playoffs but as a huge confidence booster.

How do you handle the pressure of a situation like that?

Very patiently, because I have a lot of experience and I have trained a lot for a situation like that.

Who are the biggest threats (Team/Player) that you are most worried about going up against?

None, in CR anyone can beat anyone.

Do you see your team winning all of CCS and why?

Yes, I trust my team and I know we can do great things! By the way, Fram and I make the best duo!

Anything you want to say about your CCS experience?

CCS is a very good competition and we will give everything to become the first CCS Champions!

Any last closing statements?

Thank you for the interview, and I hope to be MVP of the week again soon!
