Final Balance Changes (December 13, 2023 Q4, Season 54)
Ice Spirit Evolution buff, Archers Evolution nerf, Goblin Giant nerf
These balance changes will go live on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 — when the Tower Troops Update go live. Exact time is unknown and would depend on app store coordination.

Ice Spirit Evolution (Buff)
Ice Spirit Evolution hasn’t gained much popularity since its release due to its slower deployment compared to other Evolutions, making it less effective in terms of usefulness. To address this, significant changes were made to the Cycles required for evolution. As a result, it now aligns with the average cycle time of most other Card Evolutions.

Archers Evolution (Nerf)
The increased Damage from the Archers Evolution Power Shots seemed a bit too strong, as they consistently inflicted that extra Damage in almost every situation. Rather than diminishing the range, which is one of the key aspects of the card, Supercell decided to reduce the amount of Damage caused instead.

Goblin Giant (Nerf)
Thanks to the recent enhancements given to Spear Goblins in both February and April, along with Goblin Giant’s own buff in August, the current game meta heavily favors the use of Goblin Giant. It took some time for the balance team to fully comprehend the true strength of this card. To maintain a balanced gameplay, Supercell won’t be making significant adjustments to weaken the card. Instead, they will be reverting the previous Hit Speed buff made to the Spear Goblins.
