Best Cards
Best troops and spells:

These are the cards with highest WinRates in their category; we have limited the results for cards that had a minimum 5% UseRate. Anyone familiar with the current meta won’t be surprised by these results.
When compared to stats from other sources like Grand Challenges, it stands out that usage of spells is more balanced in Duels. For similar reasons, very popular support troops like Knight have lower UseRate in CRL.

This other image shows the most successful Win Conditions, which are useful as a way to summarise the performance of different archetypes. Decks by themselves can sometimes hide how the meta breaks down if popular archetypes have several variations; Win Condition stats aggregate those variations and can provide easier to digest results.
Lastly, although buildings are now less popular than in the past, they still play an important role in decks that want a reliable defence. The UseRate of buildings adds up to 46%, which means that a majority of decks no longer have one.
To find more detailed stats and other cards, you can use the cards section of our CRL Portal.
Deck Sets
Duels require players to play decks that only have unique cards, meaning that cards can’t be used in several decks during a Duel. A Duel match has Best of 3 (Bo3) format, meaning that 2 or 3 separate decks are needed.
This format isn’t new or just for CRL, most players know it from Clan Wars, where it was first introduced. For this reason, many players have been interested to find what decks have been chosen by the best players. To help with this, we have compiled 2 deck sets from each of the Top4 players of Round 1.

More Decks
These Deck Sets were chosen from the ones used by these players during all stages of Round 1. Some of them were used together in a single Duel; others weren’t, but simply were compatible as a set and have 24 unique cards.
If you want to find the most popular or successful decks that aren’t packed into Deck Sets, you can do so in our CRL Portal, in the decks section.
In this page, you’ll be able to find decks from everyone or just specific players; you can also apply card filters to include or exclude specific cards from deck results.
We hope that this post was useful and interesting. Let us know in the comments which were your favourite Deck Sets and if you plan to use them yourself. You can also mention other players that you would like us to cover, and we might include them in future posts.
