Besides adding the Royal Wild Chest, we’ve also added Overflow Gold Crates to the list of special chests.
If you’re not familiar with how to read the chest cycle, this is how it works:
- We list all of your upcoming chests.
- +1 if your next chest.
- +2 is the one after next.
- Special chests have a purple label. These are chests that most players look forward to. These include the following:
- Overflowing Gold Crate
- Magical Chest
- Giant Chest
- Epic Chest
- Legendary Chest
- Mega Lightning Chest
- Royal Wild Chest
How to find your player tag
The best way to find your player profile is by player tag.
1. Select player name
2. Select player tag
3. Copy tag
Our site also supports searching for player profiles by name but that only works if you have used our site before — because the API does not natively support fetching player profiles by name. So search by player tag if you’re unsure!

What’s inside
This table shows the contents of a Royal Wild Chest (RWC) in different arenas. What’s inside the chest depends on the arena you’re in when you’ve earned the chest.
If you’ve earned the chest while in Arena 14 (Serenity Peak) but opened it in Arean 15 (Legendary Arena), the chest will still corresponds to the configuration for an Arena 14 RWC.
All players at King Level 14 will get a guaranteed Champion in their Royal Wild Chests. If you’ve received a Royal Wild Chest while you’re King Level 13 (KL13) but decided to keep it in your chest slot to open it after reaching King Level 14 (KL14), then the chest does give you a Champion.
So if you are very close to reaching KL14 you might want to keep it around. But if you are very far off, it’s probably better to have more chest slots to use rather than trying to get that extra card later.
Besides showing up in your chest cycle, there’s a Royal Wild Chest in the free track of Pass Royale every season.
FAQs
How many Royal Wild Chests are there in my chest cycle?
There are none for players at Level 9 and below. For KL10 and above, every player has 2 in their cycle.
Where else can I find Royal Wild Chests?
Besides your chest cycle, you can also find Royal Wild Chests on the free track of Pass Royale every season.
Why are Champions given only to KL14?
Because Champions are only unlocked when you have reached King Level 14 (KL14), Royal Wild Chests opened before Level 13 will not contain Champions.
If I received a Royal Wild Chest when I was a KL13, but kept the chest til I am KL14, will I receive a Champion?
Yes! Whether you receive a Champion depends on when you open the chest. So if you are very close to KL14 and want to keep it in your chest slot, you will receive a Champion after reaching KL14.
If I received a Royal Wild Chest when I was in Serenity Peak, but I opened the chest in Legendary Arena, will I get the chest content for Legendary Arena?
No. Chests are tied to the arena when they are earned. If you’ve received a Royal Wild Chest while in Arena 14 (Serenity Peak), then open the chest after reaching Arena 15 (Legendary Arena), the chest will still be considered as an Arena 14 chest, even if you decide to open it later. All the chests in Clash Royale behave this way.
I don’t see any Royal Wild Chest in my cycle. Why?
Although Royal Wild Chests are given to all players across all arenas, only KL10+ (King Level 10 and above) players will see them in their chest cycles. If you are currently Level 9 and below, it won’t show up in the chest cycle. The only way you’ll get it is from the free track of Pass Royale.
