classic decksWith the last season of Clan Wars 1.0, we have yet another unbalanced season. P.E.K.K.A Ram, like last season, is the prevailing classic deck of Season 14. Unsurprisingly, Golem Beatdown has the lowest win rates out of all the classic decks.
1. P.E.K.K.A Ram
The new spell changes barely affected P.E.K.K.A Ram, as your main source of damage won’t be chip. Like last season, P.E.K.K.A Ram is well suited to play against every other classic deck, and has great answers for each deck’s win condition. Your main strategy will be counter pushing and applying pressure in double elixir, hoping to draw out a mistake by your opponent.
2. Mega Goblins
The new spell changes and Miner changes greatly affected this deck, but the win rates are still good, losing to P.E.K.K.A Ram and Spark the Goblin. Undoubtedly, this deck doesn’t have as much chip potential as it used to, meaning that most of your pushes will have to come from counter pushes and out cycling your opponent’s small spell.
3. Spark the Goblin
Spark the Goblin is pretty good against most of the other classic decks, other than LavaLoon and P.E.K.K.A Ram. Being a beatdown deck, your main strategy will be creating those big pushes either from counter pushes, or placing a Sparky/Goblin Giant in the back because you have an elixir advantage.
4. LavaLoon
LavaLoon suffers from a bad win rate because of its lack of ground troops. However, having Fireball gives it better odds of winning against Pigs on Parade. Ideally, you will use Lavahound in the back and defend your opponents aggression. However, you may just be able to ignore their push and go all-in with your Lavahound push.
5. Pigs on Parade
The low win rates of Pigs on Parade are very surprising. With all spells being nerfed, I believe this deck has a really good chance against other decks, especially with LavaLoon being the only deck with Fireball. You’ll want to always pressure with your spell bait cards, making sure to split Royal Hogs against most of the other classic decks.
6. Golem Beatdown
Golem Beatdown has the worst win rates out of all of the classic decks. Except for LavaLoon, all of the other classic decks have good answers to not only your Golem, but also your support troops. Your main strategy will be baiting out your opponent’s Zap/Electro Wizard, and going in for a big push.
