Season 31 New Year (January 2022)
Celebrate the New Year in Clash Royale style.
Year 2022 is arriving soon, and so is the new Clash Royale season. The new season will be titled New Year. Like a couple of years ago, the season for the new year will be combined with Lunar / Chinese New Year themes, which technically occurs in February.

Arena
Battles will take place at the Serenity Peak. This arena was first originally introduced in Season 7 back in January 2020. It’s now a permanent arena for trophies 4600-4999.
Tower Skins
Similar to the previous season, the January 2022 season will come with two sets of tower skins. The Golden Knight tower skin will be unlockable with Pass Royale, and another Tiger tower skin will be available at the shop.
Golden Knight (Pass Royale)
This season’s tower skins are modeled after one of the new Champion cards — Golden Knight.

Party Modes
1v1 Showdown, previously known as 1v1 Practice, will be available for the entire month. This is a special mode where you play with your Ladder card levels, earn chests if you win, but doesn’t lose trophies when you lose.
