Video Preview
Our video serves as a great introduction to everything you’ll see in the upcoming season. Check it out first before reading!
Arena
Battles in September will take place in a brand new Clash Fest Arena!
The arena is surrounded by tents that you’ll typically see at festive carnivals. Flooring for this arena is decidedly simple — tiles are very clean and clear. In contrast to many recent arenas, there aren’t many gimmicks to this one. I wonder if it possibly had to do with the Clash Royale League happening at the end of the month. 🤔 The last thing any competitor needs is a distracting arena while they play their most important games in their lives.
Tower Skins
Two tower skins are available this season — one designed to pair harmoniously with the Clash Fest arena, and the other is themed around a Royal Arena.
Clash Fest Tower Skin (Pass Royale)
The Clash Fest skin comes with golden balloons and carnival tents in stripes. This is definitely one of my absolute favorites recently. Unlock this skin at Tier 10 of Pass Royale.

Royal Arena Tower Skin (CRL Cosmetic Reward)
We don’t yet know how you can get this besides that it is a Cosmetic Reward for CRL. My educated guess would be that this would likely be a tie-in for players who watch the CRL World Finals, but more information about how this works will be available in the future.

Emotes
There will be eight new emotes this season. Besides the one that will be unlocked in Pass Royale, all of them will be unlockable through challenges! 😱
King: TV Royale
A black-and-white program named “CF” plays inside the TV. Pass Royale at Tier 20.
Barbarian: Watching You
Adorable — Barbarian gestures that he’s watching you by pointing to his eyes and then yours.
Unlock this emote when you complete the Sudden Death Challenge on September 23-25.
Battle Healer: Self Heal
The Battle Healer is scarred by the battles — so she raises up her hands and heals herself back to full health.
Unlock this emote when you complete the Duel Challenge on September 12-15.
Elixir Golem: Party
Elixir Golem thrusts his hands on the ground, and splits into two partying Elixir Golem Blobs.
Unlock this emote when you complete the Triple Elixir Challenge on September 1-4.
Goblin: Carnival
A Goblin is juggling balls in the air, but someone throws a cake in his face. His entire head is covered with cream and he lost all his balls.
Unlock this emote when you complete the Retro Royale Challenge on September 5-11.
Hands: Epic High Five
Two characters (Electro Giant and Electro Wizard?)* give each other high fives while a bolt of electricity reveals their bones.
Unlock this emote when you complete the 2v2 Challenge on September 16-18.
*In an earlier version, I thought that these are the hands of Giant and Barbarian. Reader Waldo39 commented that they might be Electro Giant and Electro Wizard, which would explain the electric bolt as well. I think that he is right, so I have changed the description. Thank you.
Lumberjack: All Seeing
Lumberjack closes his eyes, moves his arms around in a zen-like gesture, then reveals a glowing third eye — also known as the all seeing eye.
Unlock this emote when you complete the Ban-Pick Duels Challenge on September 19-22.
Tesla: High Voltage
A tesla buried deep underground springs out into the air and gives a high-voltage electric strike.
Unlock this emote when you complete the Ramp Up Challenge on September 26 - October 2.

Banner Items
Twenty-Two (22) brand new banner items will be available this season. Sixteen (16) will come in your Banner Box, with an additional six (6) available for purchase at the shop.
High Chance
Barbarian Barrel
Barbarian Barrel 3D render paired with a banner that’s made with a brown background with tiling woodblock prints of the Barrel.
Royal Giant
Royal Giant render paired with a red background with repeating tiles of explosion iconography.
Rare
Executioner Cooker
A happy Executioner throws his axe towards the viewer, with bright colorful vegetables making up of the background.
We got to know that Executioner is a chef in a previous season, but did you know why?. According to The Art of Supercell: 10th Anniversary Edition (Amazon), the design team felt that the idea of an executioner is dark, and so they softened the character by having him be a vegan that chops watermelons in the kitchen.
Log Grass
A giant Log with spikes on a sea of lush green grass.
Valkyrie Fight
Valkyrie holds her axe against the evening sky with falling maple leaves.
Extremely Rare
Clash Fest Hog Rider
Hog Rider throws his axe on his shoulder against a sky of fireworks during Clash Fest.
Mighty Miner Party
With one cup filled with elixir bubble, and a trophy cup filled with gems, Mighty Miner celebrates Clash Fest against a backdrop of partying troops in a gold background.
Ram Rider Party
A 2D cartoon-styled Ram Rider is draped with festive lights against a night background, where the towers are adorned with the same festive lights.
Shop
For the first time ever, we’ll have a series of banner items available at the shop for purchase — no RNG required!
Archer Kitsune
In Japanese folklore, kitsune (Wikipedia) (狐, キツネ), are foxes that possess paranormal abilities that increase as they get older and wiser. A kitsune may take on human form, an ability learned when it reaches a certain age—usually 100 years, although some tales say 50. A Kitsune mask is a special mask worn by Japanese on special festivals for fun.
An archer decorated with a Kitsune mask is seen pulling her gold bow against a backdrop of a series of torii (Wikipedia) (鳥居), a traditional Japanese gate most commonly found at the entrance of or within a Shinto shrine, where it symbolically marks the transition from the mundane to the sacred. Cherry blossom (Sakura) (Wikipedia), the national flower of Japan, blooms in the distant landscape.
Elite Barbarian Beach Soccer
An Elite Barbarian in Green and Yellow team jersey (Brazil?!) raises his foot and gives a hard kick on a patched soccer ball, against a backdrop of a tropical beach in summer. In the background, Skeletons and more Elite Barbarians play in the sand and enjoy the wonderul summer next to beach umbrellas in rainbow colors.
Hog Rider Thai Boxing
A Hog Rider wearing monghkon (Wikipedia) headband and pra jiad (Wikipedia) armbands raises his arms while on a Hog with festive decorations. This festive banner places the Hog Rider as a Muay Thai / Thai Boxing (Wikipedia) fighter, against a backdrop of palace in the the style of The Grand Palace (Wikipedia), the official residence of the Kings of Siam (and later Thailand) since 1782.

In case you’ve missed it, the card art for Royal Giant got an update after a maintenance on Friday, September 2. We posted this change to social media and players have a lot to say about it. Opinions are quite polarized — some players love the new render, while some much prefer the one before. What do you think? Tell us in the comments below.
