Earn over 300k Gold in Clash Royale starting on October 18th!
update
Slash Royale is a new event that has never happened before in the history of Clash Royale. The event will run from October 18 (Monday) to October 26 (Tuesday). During this 9-day event, players will be getting as much as over 300,000 Gold!

Royale Scrolls
A few days ago, a riddle appeared on social media prompting players to solve a puzzle. If you follow the hashtag #RoyaleScrolls then you will find pieces of the puzzles.
Once you’ve gone through all the pieces, you’d find that all the scrolls have the same text, except that there are four different numbers: 36, 44, 46, 53.
By counting the words in the riddle, you will then discover the text:
Slash Royale is coming
So what is it?!
All costs are cut in half
That’s right — during Slash Royale, all the costs associated with upgrades will be 50% off! If you’ve been holding off from maxing a card because it costs 100,000 Gold, you’d be able to do this during Slash Royale for 50,000 Gold!
…But wait, there’s more — all Star Level upgrades will be cut in half also! In other words, Star Level 1 will cost 5000 Star Points instead of 10000 Star Points during the event.
Great Gold Rush
You’ll experience the biggest Gold Rush ever. Aptly named the Great Gold Rush, you can earn up to 200,000 Gold depending on your arena!
- Tower (1): Gold earned per tower destroyed.
- Max (2): Maximum amount of Gold reward from the event.

Is this real?
Yes, this is real!
Do I get that emote?
No. The Royal-Hog-showered-with-coins is an existing emote released a while back during Lunar New Year. We’ve used the emote as part of the image for our design because it’s the only emote with coins — which is thematically related to the event. The emote does not come with Slash Royale.
Is this the update?
No. This is a special event for the current game client. It’s not the update — but you can consider it as the prelude to the update.
I’m already maxed. How does this benefit me?
Already maxed? Impressive!
Have you maxed all your star points? If not, take this opportunity to unlock higher star levels.
Do you have 5 million Gold? Gold is always useful.
Do you have 5 million Star Points as well? That’s triple impressive. We only know of one player who has 5 million Star Points and his entire card collection at the highest star levels. Trivia: guess the player!
If you’ve maxed everything, you represent a very tiny fraction of the entire player base. Most players can benefit greatly from the event, and happy players will drive better contents for you to enjoy in the long run.
