About the Soundtrack
The soundtrack for this season’s video for RoyaleAPI was composed by Lora Chow, a Hong Kong-based composer and soprano who graduated magna cum laude from Yale.
The music is an excerpt from Lora Chow’s composition titled “Awakening,” crafted specifically for the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra. The score later evolved with the addition of lyrics, and was premiered with the composer performing it as a soprano, pianist and harpist with the HK Phil in Feb 2024.

About Lora Chow
Lora has created numerous piano improvisations and has composed a variety of orchestral, chamber, vocal and solo piano music. Her compositions were premiered by the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra and published by the Universal Edition.
In addition to singing in various styles in concerts and events, Lora plays the organ, harp, trumpet, violin and piano, and has extensive performance experience in opera, theatre, orchestra, band, choir and chamber music.
Lora has performed in many countries across Asia, Europe and America. Currently, she is the Soprano Fellow at the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, Vice-Chairwoman of SingFest, Co-Founder of the Yale Alumni Chamber Music Society of Hong Kong, Co-Founder and Executive Director of Virtuoso Fiesta, and Member of the Composers and Authors Society of Hong Kong (CASH) and Hong Kong Composers’ Guild.
She strives to contribute to the world through music.
