Ice Spirit Evolution - December 2023 (Season 54)
Ice Spirit Evolution will be the latest Evolution card in Clash Royale. It will be available in Season 54 (December 2023).
Winter is here! It’s time to stay frosty with the Ice Spirit!
This is the 10th evolution to be released in Clash Royale. This evolved spirit doesn’t look as friendly as the normal version... it feels a bit sinister. Maybe he drank too much dark elixir? The Ice Spirit’s evolution description says as follows:
Stay frosty when Ice Spirit is about! Literally. It now infuses a target with an Ice Blast spell, which deals freezing Area Damage over time.

Evolution Stats
If you were expecting an extremely boosted spirit, you might be disappointed. All the stats will be the same as the normal Ice Spirit: same HP, same freeze duration, same range... but there is a cool difference!
Evolution Ability: Ice Blast!
After the evolved Ice Spirit reaches its target, the target becomes frozen and receives a frozen label to show this.
Over the next few seconds, the target will be frozen 2 additional times, as if another Ice Spirit had frozen it again. These additional freeze blasts will also affect nearby troops within the freeze area and deal damage, just like the normal Ice Spirit does.
Ice Blast not only affects troops, it can also affect buildings and towers.
The freeze blasts are spaced apart by 3 seconds, and each of the freezes will have a 1.2 second duration, just like the normal one. This means that affected troops will freeze intermittently until they are destroyed or the effect is over.
Evolution Cycles
Ice Spirit needs 3 Cycles to activate the evolution, so 1 in every 4 deploys will be evolved. This would be the only card that needs these many, given that Skeletons were buffed into only 2 Cycles.
Evolution Release
The Ice Spirit Evolution will be released on December 4th.
Usually, card evolutions are released slightly before the end of the season, which is the first Monday of the month. As soon as this happens, you can unlock it with Wild Shards. After the new season begins, players who buy the Diamond Pass Royale get 6 Ice Spirit shards to unlock it.
